AI-first workflow

AI-first workflow

Compressing weeks of discovery and iteration into hours.

Two hours after our discovery workshop, stakeholders were clicking through a live prototype of Wayfinder’s new Kubernetes import flow.

As the only designer I relied on a Capture → Prompt → Vibe → Design process: record everything, feed it to AI with additional context, create ASCII wireframes and generate an interactive Figma Make prototype for instant feedback.

Once validated, I produced production-ready Figma screens. This workflow turns complex requests into shippable designs at 10× the speed of traditional methods.

This framework is basically a micro-double-diamond run at high speed with AI doing some of the heavy lifting in the divergent moments (Capture/Vibe) and the Designer applying product sense and craft in the convergent ones (Prompt/Design).

Capture ≈ Discover
Prompt ≈ Define
Vibe ≈ Develop
Design ≈ Deliver

Challenge
Deliver a new Kubernetes cluster import flow in a highly technical domain, compressing weeks of discovery and iteration into hours
Outcome
Went from workshop to interactive prototype in 2 hours; validated with stakeholders the same day; 72 % of users who enabled the Kubernetes integration successfully imported at least one cluster
